We discovered New Covenant Community during the pandemic in 2020 when we tuned in to Sunday services online. We participated seamlessly until 2023, when the opportunity to meet in-person arose.

Given our work commitments in KL, the subsequent evening rush, picking up our children from daycare, and etc., it was challenging to attend connect group meetings in Taman Desa. Thus, we hadn’t previously attended in person, but committed it to prayer for God to provide a way.

God heard our plea! Just two days after we decided that we should take leave on Fridays for the connect group meetings, I received a WhatsApp message from Sister Elizabeth on March 7, 2023, inviting us to her home for a new connect group meeting near our place!

We are so grateful for the Lord’s answer to our prayers and the perfect arrangement He made for us.

The connect group draws us closer not only as NCC members but like a true family. We always gather together, enjoy a simple but satisfying meal well-prepared by the host, worship our Heavenly Father with songs, listen and share each other’s real-life experiences, then support one another in prayer.

We encourage each other and are reminded to obey and draw closer to God, knowing we are not alone in this challenging life journey, and that God has His unlimited love and grace upon all of us.

These gatherings, though brief, are rich with purpose and brimming with hope and love, strengthening our bonds as a church family.
