When we encounter the truth of who Jesus is, it should stir a response—confession of faith that leads to action. It’s not just about knowing the truth; it’s about living it out.

In Matthew 16, Peter confesses Jesus as the Messiah, and Jesus tells him, “It was not flesh and blood that revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.” From that moment, Peter is commissioned, given authority and power to act.
