Seeing Clearly

Most of us aren’t struggling because we lack options. We’re struggling because we have too many.

Every week brings a new priority, a new urgency, a new voice telling you where to look. And somewhere in all of it, the things that actually matter (your walk with God, your relationships, your health, your work) start losing their edges. Everything blurs together.

That’s not a scheduling problem. It’s a clarity problem.

In John 8:12, Jesus makes a claim that’s as practical as it is profound: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Light, in its most basic function, doesn’t just comfort — it reveals. It cuts through the haze and shows you what’s actually in the room.

This Sunday at New Covenant Community, we’re asking a question worth sitting with: what does it look like to let Jesus bring that kind of clarity to your life right now? Not in the abstract, but concretely, for the next 8 months ahead.
