Grace Upon Grace: From His Fullness We Have All Received

So much of life trains us to perform. To prove ourselves. To earn approval. Even faith can slowly begin to feel like something we have to get right.

But John’s words gently shift the focus:
“From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”

Grace doesn’t start with what we bring to God. It begins with who Jesus is and what He has already given. From His fullness, not our effort. From His grace, not our performance.

This Sunday, we’ll reflect on what it means to live from a place of receiving rather than striving. To rediscover a faith grounded not in doing more, but in trusting what Christ has already done.

A reminder that the Christian life is not about earning grace, but learning to live from it.
